A new and improved water based formula, Goldstone #7 is designed to protect microwave antennas, large dish telescopes and radio receivers from infrared radiation and heat accumulation. It allows electromagnetic waves to pass, ensuring accurate data collection.
The coating was originally formulated for NASA’s Goldstone Deep Space Instrumentation Facilities but is applicable in other settings where it is important to have high infrared diffusion properties to reduce surface temperatures.
